Boy Hurt after Reno Pedestrian Crash on Sandpiper Drive and Cold Springs Drive
RENO, NV (February 14, 2020) – The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said an eight-year-old boy was hurt in a pedestrian accident on Sandpiper Drive.
According to deputies, the boy walked north on Sandpiper Drive near the Cold Springs intersection. Then a vehicle struck him around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Deputies said the boy received medical injuries at the scene.
