Injuries Reported after Sloughhouse Multi-Vehicle Crash on Scott Road
SLOUGHHOUSE, CA (November 20, 2019) — A multi-vehicle crash on Scott Road in Sloughhouse left three people injured Sunday night.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the crash happened at 3800 Scott Road near Rancho Murieta at around 8:00 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver traveling northbound on Scott Road hit a father and son traveling southbound. The driver was unaware of how much the road curves are.
Emergency responders transported the father to UC Davis Medical Center with major injuries while his son suffered minor and non-life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the extent of the other driver’s injuries was unclear.
Crews worked to investigate the crash and clear the wreckage. As a result, drivers and commuters experienced traffic delays in the area.
