Injuries Reported Following Three-Vehicle Collision Near Camino Summit

SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 20, 2023) – Thursday morning, a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 154 sent at least three people to a hospital.

Santa Barbara County Fire officials responded to the collision around 8:52 p.m., near West Camino Cielo.

Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered three vehicles in the wreckage, with one sedan resting on its roof. A truck and another sedan were also confirmed to be a part of the crash.

Paramedics eventually transported an adult male patient to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Meanwhile, two adult females from the second vehicle were hospitalized for minor injuries.

Medical personnel rushed all patients to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to the report.

Police said a solo male occupant from the third vehicle remained unharmed. Responding emergency personnel closed that area of Highway 154 as crews cleared the scene.

At this time, Santa Barbara County Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash.
