62-Year-Old Los Gatos Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Dimeo Lane
SANTA CRUZ, CA (November 17, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a 62-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 1.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2:04 p.m., near Dimeo Lane, near the area of Wilder Ranch State Park between Santa Cruz and Davenport.
Based on reports, a red 2008 Victory Vision motorcycle collided with a white 2003 Toyota Tundra pickup-truck. At this time, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain unclear. However, police determined that both vehicles were traveling southbound.
Despite life-saving efforts, first responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene after suffering major injuries. Meanwhile, the driver and the passenger inside the Tacoma did not sustain injuries.
