50-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Auto Collision near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

LONG BEACH, CA (November 17, 2023) – Early Monday evening, Carlos Ceron was killed in a multi-car accident on Pacific Coast Highway.

Police responded to the scene around 5:50 p.m., at the 1000 block of PCH, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that two vehicles collided with each other and hit a male pedestrian. Responding medical personnel later declared the male victim dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the deceased pedestrian as 50-year-old Ceron, of Long Beach. 

Paramedics also treated one of the drivers at the scene while the other was rushed to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Additionally, two other drivers reported minor damage to their vehicles. It was unclear if they sustained any injuries. Those with further information regarding the fatal Pacific Coast Highway crash are encouraged to contact Long Beach Officials immediately.
