Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Blue Diamond Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 16, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, one woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Dean Martin Drive.
Just before 3:33 a.m., police received calls just north of Vicki Avenue, between Blue Diamond Road and Silverado Ranch Boulevard on November 8th.
Upon arrival, investigators learned that the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a female pedestrian in her 30s. The driver then fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.
Moreover, a witnesses contacted authorities and paramedics rushed out to the scene to perform first-aid to the woman. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her identity was not yet disclosed by officials.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
