One Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near Bruce Road
CHICO, CA (November 16, 2023) – Friday afternoon, one driver was hospitalized and Adrian Flores was arrested after a DUI crash on Highway 32.
Police received dispatch calls about a collision between two vehicles near Bruce Road around 4:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers noticed one of the vehicles fleeing from the scene. The suspect then stopped about a half a mile away. Shortly after, the driver exited the vehicle and ran into a nearby field.
Afterward, the suspect stopped his car about half a mile away from the site of the crash and exited the vehicle before running into a nearby field.
Meanwhile, responding paramedics transported the driver from the other vehicle to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Eventually, the officers managed to arrest the suspect, 35-year-old Adrian Flores of Sacramento. Police later determined that Flores was currently under probation for a prior DUI conviction.
Flores is now facing charges for hit-and-run causing injuries, DUI, and violating terms of probation.
