66-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Venice Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 15, 2023) – Tuesday morning, Bibiana Retana-Sosa was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident on 9th Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:45 a.m., near Venice Boulevard and 12th Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a white Mazda was heading east and struck a woman walking within a marked crosswalk. The driver then fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.
Emergency medical personnel later pronounced 66-year-old Retana-Sosa dead.
