1 Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Staffordshire

HOUSTON, TX (September 26, 2023) – Saturday night, one victim was killed in a pedestrian collision on Holcombe Boulevard.

Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near Staffordshire and the Texas Medical Center.

Officers say the driver of a passing vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the involved pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal pedestrian collision on Holcombe Boulevard.
