38-Year-Old Woman Involved in Deadly Pedestrian Accident near Rainbow Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 15, 2023) – Friday night, Teresa McAteer was involved in a fatal pedestrian crash on Charleston Boulevard.
Around 8:00 p.m., police responded to the scene near Rainbow Boulevard and Rockaway Street.
Officers say 38-year-old McAteer was driving a westbound 2017 Nissan Altima and struck a pedestrian, pushing them west.
Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene due to the extent of their condition. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Following preliminary duties, police do not believe that impairment played a factor.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during clearing operations. Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal pedestrian crash on Charleston Boulevard.
