Man Wounded on Gunshot Involved in Head-On Accident near Bullis Road
COMPTON, CA (September 8, 2023) – On Saturday afternoon, police responded to a crash near the 1400 block of North Long Beach Boulevard.
According to the authorities, they believed that a man was shot just before 1:00 p.m., September 2nd while driving in the area of Bullis Road and Rosecrans Avenue.
Furthermore, the man continued to drive for a short distance and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Moreover, the driver of the involved vehicle sustained minor wounds and paramedics transported him to the hospital for medication.
Unfortunately, the driver who was shot did not survive the incident, and police pronounced him dead at the scene. His identity was not yet released.
At this time, the suspect in the shooting was not yet determined, and the homicide detectives were called to help in the investigation.
