Redwood Village Pedestrian-Auto Collision Left 36-Year-Old Man Injured
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 7, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a pedestrian crash on College Avenue left a man with serious injuries.
The collision happened around 4:27 p.m. at the 4200 block of College Avenue near University Avenue in the neighborhood of Redwood Village.
According to the police, a 2007 Nissan Titan traveling west on University Avenue turned left onto northbound College Avenue. Subsequently, the driver hit a pedestrian who was standing in the northbound left lane, north of the intersection.
Responding medical personnel transported the 36-year-old man to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries including immediate surgery. However, his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
