Five Hospitalized after Pickup-Truck Rollover Collision near State Route 74
PEORIA, AZ (July 24, 2023) – Late Sunday night, five victims sustained injuries in a rollover accident on Castle Hot Springs Road.
Police responded to the scene near State Route 74 after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
Per reports, the driver of a pickup-truck veered off Castle Hot Springs Road at a high rate of speed. The truck then crashed into a 40-foot ravine before landing on its roof.
First responders located the vehicle in a location that was inaccessible by foot. As a result, emergency crews had to use a technical-rescue evacuation using ropes.
Medics then transported the five occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about a rollover accident on Castle Hot Springs Road.
