Man Dies in Traffic Accident on Decatur Boulevard
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (July 3, 2023) – Early Monday morning, police responded to a fatal moped accident on Rancho Drive.
On June 26th, just after 3:00 a.m., officers responded to an accident involving a moped vehicle near the North Las Vegas airport.
According to the police, they arrived at the scene and found the moped rider downed on the highway.
Investigation showed that the rider attempted to make a left turn onto Rancho Drive and crashed into a pole.
Furthermore, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity remains withheld by the authorities, next of kin was notified.
Consequently, the authorities have stated that speed and improper use of helmets were contributing factors to the incident.
The police have yet to release other details at this time and further investigations are still underway.
