Las Vegas Man Killed after Hit-and-Run Two-Vehicle Collision near Yolanda Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 12, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Sergio Olivera was killed in a motorcycle hit-and-run crash on Roscoe Boulevard.
The accident took place along Roscoe Boulevard near Yolanda Avenue around 5:40 p.m. on May 27th.
According to the CHP, a BMW driver traveling eastbound on Roscoe, for unknown reasons, made a left turn at Yolanda Avenue and collided with a biker.
The suspect then fled the scene and did not render any help to the rider. Meanwhile, paramedics arrived and declared the rider dead at the scene.
Police later released the name of the deceased as 38-year-old Sergio Olivera of Los Angeles.
The LAPD Valley Traffic Division ask anyone who has information about the suspect to call them at 818-644-8035 or 877-527-3247.
