24-Year-Old Passenger Pronounced Dead after Rollover Car Accident near Fancher Street
SELMA, CA (June 7, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, Kassandra Gaona was killed in a rollover collision on Dinuba Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:00 a.m., near Fancher Street on May 29th.
California Highway Patrol stated that a 26-year-old man was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, he crashed into a telephone pole and into another car before landing in the front bedroom of a Selma home.
Upon impact, the driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics transported them to Community Regional Medical Center where 24-year-old Gaona succumbed to her injuries.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
