Multiple Injured in Vehicle Collision on Encanto Boulevard

PHOENIX, AZ (May 16, 2023) – Wednesday night, five people sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on 43rd Avenue, police said.

The incident happened on May 3rd at around 5:30 p.m. just north of McDowell Road, involving a passenger vehicle and a work truck.

According to Phoenix Fire, a woman was ejected from the passenger vehicle and three girls suffered serious injuries.

Consequently, they were transported to the hospital in critical condition along with a man that was treated at the scene and was later taken in for observation.

At this time, the cause of the incident was not yet determined and police are still investigating the crash.
