Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Bus on North Hacienda Boulevard [La Puente, CA]

Pedestrian Collision Near Fairgrove Avenue Left One Dead

LA PUENTE, CA (May 12, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident involving a school bus on North Hacienda Boulevard.

To the incident around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of N. Hacienda Boulevard and Fairgrove Avenue. 

At this time, the cause of the collision remains under investigation. 

The female pedestrian sustained major injuries and died at the scene. Her identity has not been released pending notification from the next of kin. 

News photos obtained in the accident revealed a bus stopped just past the intersection with multiple pieces of debris in front. 

It was unknown if any students are occupying the bus at the time of the incident. 

The authorities have not released any further details regarding the North Hacienda Boulevard pedestrian accident to the public. La Puente Officials will provide more information once available.
