Safuiane Malufau Killed in 2-Car Accident on Cajalco Road [Mead Valley, CA]

47-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near Seaton Avenue

MEAD VALLEY, CA (May 8, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, Safuiane Malufau was killed in a 2-car accident on Cajalco Road.

Dispatchers responded to the scene around 12:15 p.m., near Seaton Avenue.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection. However, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. 

Responding medics pronounced one of the occupants dead at the scene. Although, the other driver was unharmed. Authorities identified the deceased driver as 47-year-old Safuiane Malufau of Moreno Valley.

In the end, the California Highway Patrol closed the intersection for at least two hours to conduct an investigation. Those with additional information about the Cajalco Road crash are asked to contact CHP’s Riverside office at 951-637-8000.
