31-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Pickup-Truck Accident near Castana Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 8, 2023) – Saturday evening, one man was seriously injured in a motorcycle collision on Euclid Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 8:20 p.m., at the 200 block of Euclid Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
According to reports, the 70-year-old male driver of a black 2005 Dodge Ram pickup-truck crossed over the center divider for reasons unknown. As a result, the Dodge made a left turn and collided with an oncoming southbound black 2009 Harley Davidson.
Investigators claimed the rider anticipated the collision and dropped his motorcycle on its right side. The rider then slid about 40 feet and struck the Dodge’s right side panel.
Eventually, medical personnel arrived at the scene and transported the rider to a hospital for serious injuries. He was said to be suffering from a collapsed lung, left femur and pelvic fractures.
