54-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Dunlap Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (April 28, 2023) – Wednesday night, Marvin Denny was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on 19th Avenue.

Police responded to the scene just before 8:00 p.m., just south of Dunlap Avenue on April 12th.

According to reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck Denny as he was crossing 19th Avenue against a red light.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced 54-year-old Denny dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
