Semi Truck Collision on Interstate 40 Left Bret Wayne Sackett and Jordan Frank Dead
AZ-NM BORDER (April 28, 2023) – Saturday night, Bret Wayne Sackett and Jordan Frank died following a deadly car accident.
The incident happened on March 25th, at around 9 p.m., near the Arizona-New Mexico Border.
According to reports, Sackett was driving a semi-truck at high speeds on the westbound exit of Interstate 40. For reasons currently unknown, the semi truck rear-ended a GMC Sierra driven by Frank. The impact sent the Sierra to a Volvo semi-tractor trailer.
Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after. Officials pronounced 60-year-old Bret Wayne Sackett of Jordan, Utah and 31-year-old Jordan Frank, of Twin Lakes, New Mexico, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a 59-year-old passenger of Sackett suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Eventually, the officers said that the Volvo driver did not obtain any injuries. No other information was released and an active investigation is still underway.
