Male Driver Pronounced Dead after Solo-Vehicle Collision near El Mirage Road

AVONDALE, AZ (March 15, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, one man was killed and another was injured in a single-car accident on Broadway Road.

Officers responded to the scene around 5:20 a.m., near El Mirage Road on March 11th.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle lost control and crashed in the area.

First responders located the deceased male driver and his male passenger who was suffering from minor injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased driver.
