Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Beyer Boulevard [San Diego, CA]

Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Interstate 85

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 21, 2023) – Friday evening, one male pedestrian was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident near Beyer Boulevard.

The incident happened around 8:55 p.m., at Interstate 85 near Beyer Boulevard. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, a white Kia Sedan hit the man for reasons currently unknown. However, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

First responders transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, his identity remains unknown to the public pending notification of next of kin.
