Truck Collision near Desert Hot Springs Home Resulted in One Casualty

DESERT HOT SPRING, CA (February 17, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a pickup truck accident on Santa Cruz Road left one motorist hospitalized. 

Responding emergency personnel responded to the incident around 12:55 a.m. at the 10900 block of Santa Cruz Rd. 

Upon arrival, units discovered a pickup that crashed into a home for unknown reasons. The impact caused significant damage to the building’s structure. 

It was unclear if the residence was occupied at the time of the incident. However, paramedics transported the driver to a hospital. 

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Officials will release updates as they are made available to the public.
