Male Pedestrian Hospitalized after Collision on Gilmore Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 23, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Buck Owens Boulevard.

The incident happened around 2:42 a.m., on the 3000 block of Buck Owens Boulevard near Gilmore Avenue on November 21st.

Investigators say the driver of a vehicle struck a man who was walking outside of a marked crosswalk. Following the crash, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured victim.
