Four Pronounced Dead after Plane Crash near Seattle

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA (November 22, 2022) – Friday morning, four victims were killed in a small plane collision near Harvey Field Airport.

Per reports, the single-engine Textron 208B crashed around 9:35 a.m., in a field just east of the Harvey Field Airport. The impact of the collision caused the plane to immediately catch fire.

In addition, crews had difficulty reaching the scene due to the terrain, irrigation and vegetation. Firefighters also had to use 2,000 feet of a water hose to extinguish the flames.

All four occupants of the plane were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 33-year-old Nathan Precup, of Seattle, 49-year-old Nate Lachendro, of Gig Harbor, 52-year-old Scott Brenneman, of Roy and 67-year-old David Newton of Wichita, Kansas.

At this time, an active investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash is still underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
