Los Angeles Fiery Auto Collision Leaves Five Dead
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 18, 2022) – Sunday morning, five people lost their lives in a fiery car crash on Pacific Coast Highway.
The accident occurred around 4:30 a.m., near Point Mugu on November 6th.
Per reports, Kevin Sanic was driving a 2020 Subaru sedan when he veered over the center median into oncoming traffic. As a result, Sanic struck a 2011 Toyota SUV head-on.
Upon impact, both vehicles caught fire until firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames. The Toyota was occupied by Annabelle Robinson, Mario Ferrer, Carmen Teves, and Nora Banayo.
Medics pronounced 27-year-old Sanic, of Los Angeles; 38-year-old Robinson, of Camarillo; 68-year-old Ferrer, of Port Hueneme; 48-year-old Teves, of North York, Canada; and 67-year-old Banayo, of Brampton, Canada dead at the scene.
Following the collision, California Highway Patrol officers temporarily closed both lanes for several hours to perform cleanup and preliminary duties.
