Toddler Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Cross Creek Apartment [Irvine, CA]

2-Year-Old Girl Fatally Struck by Van near Lake View Road

IRVINE, CA (November 1, 2022) – Thursday evening, a pedestrian crash near Cross Creek Apartments killed a two-year-old girl.

The fatal incident happened on October 27th, at around 8:05 p.m., at 22 Creek Road in Irvine. 

According to the investigators, a black Honda Odyssey approaching the parking lot exit hit the 2-year-old girl who was riding a scooter on the sidewalk. 

When emergency crews arrived, they found the toddler with serious injuries. Medics transported her to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

At this time, officials have not released the identity of the deceased victim. No further details about the pedestrian crash near Cross Creek Apartments are public at this time; however, an active investigation is currently underway.
