Deputy Involved in DUI Collision on Nees Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (October 20, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a police officer was injured in a DUI crash on Willow Avenue.

The incident happened shortly after midnight near Nees Avenue on October 15th.

According to reports, two westbound vehicles struck a patrol car as it was stopped at the red light at the intersection.

Medics arrived and took the involved officer to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, police arrested one of the drivers involved in the crash. Authorities only described her as a 25-year-old woman suspected of driving under the influence.
