24-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Mission Lakes Boulevard

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (October 19, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Sierra Forst was killed in a pedestrian crash on Indian Canyon Drive.

Police responded to the scene around 4:00 a.m., just north of Mission Lake Boulevard.

According to reports, Forst was standing in the middle of the road when the driver of a green Chrysler swerved in attempt to avoid her, and still hit the pedestrian.

The impact of the collision left Forst with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the 41-year-old driver pulled over and dialed 911.

When first responders arrived, they pronounced 24-year-old Sierra Forst of Desert Hot Springs dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Chrysler, a 41-year-old resident of Cathedral City, suffered minor injuries.
