Multiple Hurt in Auto Collision near Glendale Avenue and Loop 303

GLENDALE, AZ (October 5, 2022) – Friday afternoon, police responded to a wrong-way crash on Bethany Home Road.

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m., near Glendale Avenue on September 30th.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a southbound vehicle drove onto the northbound lanes. As a result, the wrong-way vehicle collided with another vehicle.

The Rural Metro Fire arrived at the scene and extricated multiple injured occupants from the wreckage, including a child and his mother.

Meanwhile, crews closed down Loop 303 between Bethany Home Road and Glendale Avenue during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
