61-Year-Old Man Killed in Rollover Accident on Mark Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 30, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, 61-year-old Daniel Muniz died in a rollover crash on Dinuba Avenue.
The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m., in the area of Dinuba and Marks Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol, Muniz lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, crashing into a grape vineyard. The impact of the collision ejected Muniz 20 feet from the pickup-truck.
First responders found Muniz in critical condition. Due to the severity of his injuries, medical personnel later pronounced him dead at the scene.
Moreover, police closed off the surrounding area to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, officials did not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors in the fatal crash. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
