Auto Collision on Interstate 40 Claims Life of 69-Year-Old Man
DAGGETT, CA (September 29, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a car crash on Interstate 40 claimed the life of Mexican singer Lupe Tijerina Martinez.
The incident happened on September 23rd, at around 4:27 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40.
According to reports, Martinez was driving along the road when he, for reasons currently unknown, lost control of his vehicle. As a result, he became involved in a traffic collision. The impact of the crash left Martinez with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the accident shortly after. There, medics pronounced 69-year-old Lupe Tijerina Martinez of Victorville dead at the scene.
