Traffic Accident at Bus Stop Left One Dead
ELYSIAN PARK, CA (August 2, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a crash involving an SUV and a bus stop claimed the life of Joseph Curran.
The incident happened on July 13th, at around 4:22 p.m., at a bus stop near 1001 North Broadway.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department, a green Mercedes-Benz SUV veered off the road and crashed into a bus stop. The SUV fatally struck Curran. Two others were also injured in the collision.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after and pronounced 74-year-old Curran dead at the scene. Meanwhile, one other victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. It is unclear whether the other victims were passengers of the SUV or if they were pedestrians.
