Ducor Woman Dead in a Rollover Car Crash near Richgrove Drive
DELANO, CA (July 26, 2022) – Thursday morning, 22-year-old Carla Maria Perez Mendoza lost her life in a rollover crash at Avenue 24.
The incident occurred on July 21st, at around 6:00 a.m. in the area of Avenue 24 and Richgrove Drive.
According to reports, Mendoza was driving her car when, for reasons unknown, her vehicle veered off the road. The car then rolled over before coming to a stop.
Medical personnel responded to the incident shortly after and rushed Mendoza to Adventist Health Delano. There, she was treated for major injuries, but despite life-saving efforts, she succumbed to her wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
At this time, the circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear. However, Delano Police are currently investigating the causes of the crash. Those with further information are encouraged to contact local officials as soon as possible.
