Two-Vehicle Accident on Contra Loma Boulevard Left One Injured
ANTIOCH, CA (July 26, 2022) – One died on Thursday, and another was injured after a fiery car crash on James Donlon Boulevard.
The incident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of James Donlon and Contra Loma Boulevards.
Furthermore, according to reports, one vehicle was speeding into the intersection and collided with another vehicle.
Consequently, one car rammed into a tree and became engulfed in flames.
Rescuers extracted the person from the burning car. Moreover, one person was ejected from the second vehicle due to the collision.
Authorities declared one person dead at the scene, their identity has yet to be released.
Meanwhile, paramedics transport another unidentified victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The crash closed James Donlon Boulevard for several hours to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
