Woman Dead after Multi-Car Collision on 215 Freeway [Highgrove, CA]

Female Victim Killed in Three-Vehicle Accident near La Cadena Drive

HIGHGROVE, CA (July 25, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a woman was pronounced dead following a multi-car collision on 215 Freeway.

Police responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m., just south of La Cadena Drive.

Under unclear circumstances, three vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of the freeway. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced a woman inside one of the vehicles dead at the scene.

Following preliminary investigations, crews determined that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash. In addition, investigators closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup duties.

At this time, an active investigation into the multi-car collision on 215 Freeway is still underway. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
