Two Unidentified Victims Hurt in DUI Collision on 4th Street
FRESNO, CA (July 8, 2022) – Saturday evening, a DUI accident on Tulare Avenue left two people hospitalized with injuries.
The crash happened on June 28th, at 9:00 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the incident near 4th Street, shortly after.
According to reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a patrol unit. The impact consequently caused a chain of accidents, involving multiple vehicles.
Investigators say the involved police officer remained uninjured. However, medics transported two occupants to a local hospital for further treatment. The two injured victims were stopped in a vehicle in front of the police car.
Following preliminary investigations, police confirmed that the 36-year-old woman who hit the police officer was driving under the influence.
