Two Brothers Killed and Two Others Injured in Rollover Crash near Fort McDowell Road

SUNFLOWER, AZ (June 29, 2022) – Sunday night, Tyrese Rock and his brother were killed in a crash on SR-87 near Fort McDowell Road.

Per initial reports, the crash happened at around 5:00 p.m. southbound lanes of the SR-87 when a vehicle’s tire blew out which caused it to lose control and rollover.

As a result, 18-year-old Rock died at the scene with his 16-year-old brother. Although, the brother’s identity has not yet been released at this time.

Additionally, two other people suffered injuries and are currently in an unknown condition.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the fatal rollover crash along SR-87 is currently underway. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Sunflower Officials as soon as possible.
