One Victim Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near San Antonio Creek Road
SANTA BARBARA, CA (June 21, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, one victim was injured in a head-on accident on Highway 154.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly before 1:00 p.m., beside San Antonio Creek Road.
Responding authorities discovered a Chevy Silverado pickup-truck and a gray Honda sedan. Investigators say both vehicles sustained heavy damage due to the collision.
In addition, police said that one unidentified person suffered minor injuries. Moreover, the driver of one of the vehicles reportedly fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended by officers.
At this time, the events leading up to the head-on crash on Highway 154 remain unclear.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since reopened.
