45-Year-Old Man and His Dog Dead after Pedestrian Collision near 16 Avenue

KINGS  COUNTY, CA (June 13, 2022) – Friday, a 45-year-old man was fatally struck while walking his dog in a pedestrian accident on 16th Road.

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m., just east of 16 Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, the man was walking in the area when an unknown vehicle struck the man and his dog. Due to the impact of the crash, officers declared the man and his dog dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the name, age, or city of residence of the deceased victim. Meanwhile, the driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
