Car Crashes into Building near South Meadows Parkway, Injures 2
RENO, NV (June 9, 2022) – A woman and a 9-year-old boy sustained injuries Tuesday after a car crash on South Meadows Parkway.
The incident happened around 3:45 p.m., June 7th on South Meadows Parkway, near Great Clips.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, a driver crashed through the front of the business building for reasons still unknown.
The crash pinned the woman against a wall and trapped the 9-year-old boy underneath the vehicle. Responding medics rushed the two victims to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, local officers withheld the identity of the victims until their families are notified.
Meanwhile, Reno Police are asking any witnesses to reach out and cooperate as soon as possible.
