Traffic Accident near Malki Road Left Several Hurt
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (June 8, 2022) – Friday morning, a multi-vehicle crash along the 10 Freeway left at least 13 people injured, police said.
According to the police, the incident happened around 11:00 a.m. on the 10 Freeway near Malki Road.
The California Highway Patrol said a Greyhound bus front had a flat tire while heading eastbound in the No. 2 lane.
Furthermore, as a result, the bus veered to the left and hit the Mitsubishi before hitting the center divider.
Later on, authorities learned that there were 33 people inside the bus traveling from Los Angeles to Phoenix.
Eventually, paramedics arrived and transported a total of eleven people from the bus and two people from the Mitsubishi to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
No further details regarding the crash are public at this time; however, more information will be provided once made available by the Riverside County Officials.
