16-Year-Old Teen Dies in Traffic Accident on Iron Mountain Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 6, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead after a dirt-bike collision on Sky Canyon Park Drive.
The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., at the intersection of Sky Canyon Park Drive and Iron Mountain Road.
Per reports, the boy was riding his dirt-bike northbound when he ran a red light at the intersection. As a result, he crashed into an SUV turning left onto Skye Canyon Drive.
Due to the impact of the collision, the 16-year-old boy died at the scene. Although, authorities withheld the victim’s identity until notification of next of kin.
Police did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and the factors involved in the crash on Iron Mountain Road remain under investigation.
