Young Boy Dies in Skateboard Accident on Hercules Street

HESPERIA, CA (June 2, 2022) – Early Saturday afternoon, an 11-year-old boy died in a skateboard crash on Choiceana Avenue.

The victim was struck and killed by an SUV while riding his skateboard around 12:35 p.m, on Choiceana Avenue and Hercules Street.

As a result, paramedics took the boy to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Meanwhile, the female driver of the gray-colored SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Hesperia Officials closed Choiceana Street for a couple of hours while the police worked at the scene.
