Leejon Tolliver Arrested after Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Palmdale Road [Victorville, CA]

Motorcyclist Killed in DUI Hit-and-Run Accident near Dyer Road

VICTORVILLE CA (May 20, 2022) – Wednesday evening, Leejon Tolliver was arrested after fatally striking a motorcyclist on Palmdale Road.

The incident occurred around 8:12 p.m., near the intersection of Dyer and Palmdale Road.

According to reports, 34-year-old Tolliver was driving a silver 2014 Dodge Durango when he turned onto Palmdale in front of a 2020 Harley Davidson Street Bob. There, the two vehicles collided.

Upon impact, Tolliver fled the scene of the accident. Shortly after, medics arrived and airlifted the motorcyclist to Victor Valley Hospital where he later died.

A little over half an hour after the incident, police located and took Tolliver into custody. He is being held at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail on the hit-and-run charge. Moreover, jail records show his bail is an additional $50,000 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and child abuse.
