1 Dead, 1 Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision on Power Inn Road
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 19, 2022) – 71-year-old Hamuoi Eckel lost her life Saturday after a fatal two-vehicle crash on Florin Road.
The incident took place near the intersection of Florin Road and Power Inn Road on May 14.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived and found a vehicle and a dump truck involved in the collision. Although, the main events that led to the accident remain unclear.
Paramedics rushed two people to the hospital, one in critical condition and the other with minor to moderate injuries.
Due to the extent of their condition, one of the victims succumbed to her injuries. Police later identified the deceased victim as Hamuoi Eckel, 71, of Sacramento.
At this time, authorities are still currently conducting an active investigation. Once available, Sacramento officers will provide further details about the accident at Florin Road.
