Guadalupe Tijerina Injured in Car Accident on State Route 41 [Madera, CA]

Woman Airlifted after Head-On Auto Collision near Road 406

MADERA, CA (May 19, 2022) – A head-on crash along State Route 41 left Guadalupe Tijerina injured Monday evening.

According to reports, the incident happened around 5:50 p.m., just north of Road 406.

Officers say Tijerina drove south at an undetermined speed on the highway when she crossed over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane. There, she collided head-on with an oncoming truck.

Furthermore, Tijerina’s vehicle spun out and crashed into a rock embankment, east of Highway 41.

Eventually, fire personnel arrived at the scene and transported Tijerina to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the two occupants of the truck received minor injuries.
