Train Accident near Holmes Avenue Claims Life of 54-Year-Old Man
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 3, 2022) – Friday morning, Herculano Marcial Garcia died after a train collision near Gage and Home Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a pedestrian was struck by a Metro A Line train around 11:00 a.m.
Furthermore, emergency crews responded and pronounced 54-year-old Garcia dead at the scene. However, further events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Reports indicate that no others were harmed in the collision.
Both directions of the A Line tracks were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
No other information regarding the train crash is available at this moment. Moreover, an active investigation into the fatal train accident is currently underway.
